Here is a copy of the note sent home today with all students about our exciting day tomorrow:
Division 2 - Up date for Young Authors’ Conference field trip on Friday, May 4th, 2012
We are all looking forward to a great day at the Conference. Here are some last minute details for your information:
I will be at TRU early Friday morning, and Mr. Rempel will be in our classroom to see you all off!
On Friday morning, please arrive at the school no later than 7:55 so you can leave by 8:00 am. Those parents only driving their own child may take them straight to TRU without stopping at the school first. The students should be at TRU by 8:15 am.
The students are to be taken to the Clock Tower at Thompson Rivers University, where they will receive their workshop schedule and attend the opening ceremonies.
After the opening we will all be going to the International Building. We will remain at the International Building for all the workshops, snack and lunch breaks. If you would like to join us for the lunch break, it will be from12:15 – 1:00 and hopefully, we will be enjoying the sunshine on the grass in front of the International Building.
At 2:30 pm. We will all be returning to the Clock Tower for the closing ceremonies. However, as there is a dance scheduled to begin at 2:30 the students have decided they would prefer to return to school at that time. Please be waiting outside the front entrance to the Clock Tower at 2:30 pm to drive the children back to school.
