Good news!!!!
We have our trip to Highland Valley Copper Mine confirmed!
We will leave the school at 8:30, the morning of Thursday, June 21st, on a school bus and return to the school by 2:30 in the afternoon. There is a $5.00 fee to help cover the cost of the bus. Permission slips, an itinerary, and the Highland Valley Cooper's Rules for School Visits will be sent home tomorrow. Please read as they include important information such as clothing rules: NO skirts, dresses, short pants, or open toed shoes are allowed. NO contacts - prescription eye-wear (glasses) only.
We would also like to have some parent volunteer helpers join us for the day. :)
Be sure you are prepared when you arrive in class and have everything you need with you!
