Tomorrow we will celebrate Halloween after lunch break! Students can put their costumes on after the lunch break
and we will do something Spooktacular!
Some students have asked if they can bring treats. They are more than welcome to bring treats as long as they have enough for everyone. We should have 22 students at school tomorrow.
If anyone has a "G" rated Halloween DVD the class would enjoy, please bring it tomorrow!
Math - complete page 21 on a separate piece of paper
- be sure to include all t-tables as some questions require more than 1
- there will be a unit test on Monday, Nov. 4. It will be on Jump Math pages 1 - 21
- our Jump Math books arrived yesterday and I have suggested that the students
use pages 1 - 21 for review - They have the photocopies with corrections in
their binders already!
L.A. - always think about ways to make your stories better
Science - Check Your Understanding page 7 was due Wednesday, October 30
Social Studies - We have started work on presentations for Remembrance Day
Students were given the option of working alone or in pairs. They have
chosen an article from the Canada Remembers Times, Vetrans'
newspaper that they will present to the class. It is their job to
explain / teach the article to the rest of the class.
They will need to know their article and everything about it very well!
- We will continue work on the Anti-Litter project after the
Remembrance Day Presentations
Our
Art Cards are here! They were sent home October 22. This is a PAC
fund-raiser and a great idea for personal
Holiday Greeting Cards. Your card is the order form, and orders are due
Monday, November 4th! The minimum order is 8 cards. Cheques are made
payable to Aberdeen Elementary.
